Vans Website Remake Concept
This redesign concept I did for Vans gained a lot of visibility in social media and got me dozens of new clients back there in 2017 when I was a freelancer. I was and still am a lover of this brand and one day while navigating the website I thought to myself that the branding of the site doesn’t speak my language and I came with this idea to remake it and giving it the personification it was lacking. So, if Vans was a person, how would it look, what it would be doing and who would be its friends? I researched for the last visual trends to give the magic the site deserves, and together with cool colors and effects I put together the first sketches. After visual I focused on making the experience better, starting by the very landing of the page asking whether the user wanted to buy mens or women articles. I speeded up the checkout process by saving the user some non mandatory screens from the moment he/she liked a product until the payment phase, by giving stock and shipment details earlier.
